IP Moat participated in the seventh international conference hosted by the UK’s Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), held in central London in January 2026.
The conference, themed “Regulation for Growth”, brought together regulators, policymakers and technology providers to discuss innovation, international trade and consumer protection. Senior officials from all ten ASEAN member states attended the event alongside representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat.
The event formed part of OPSS’s ongoing collaboration with Southeast Asian regulators, helping address some of the key challenges faced by governments, marketplaces and consumers within rapidly growing e-commerce environments.
Showcasing UK Technology Solutions
As part of the programme, OPSS showcased innovative UK technology companies capable of providing practical solutions to issues surrounding product safety, intellectual property infringement and online marketplace enforcement.
IP Moat was invited to present its technology directly to international regulators and stakeholders through a dedicated presentation and Q&A session.
IP Moat demonstrated how its platform helps brands identify and remove counterfeit products, copied listings and trademark infringements across global e-commerce marketplaces. The platform combines automated monitoring with streamlined enforcement tools, helping businesses protect both their customers and their intellectual property online.
Driving Better Outcomes for Consumers and Brands
The conference provided an important opportunity for IP Moat to contribute to international discussions surrounding digital enforcement, counterfeit prevention and consumer trust in online marketplaces.
As global e-commerce continued to expand, collaboration between regulators, marketplaces and technology providers remained increasingly important in tackling counterfeit goods and unsafe products online.
IP Moat valued the opportunity to share its experience working with brands and marketplaces worldwide while exploring future partnerships focused on safer and more transparent online commerce.
